Robotics and Programming Courses for Teachers

At present the number of robotics and programming courses aimed at teachers ( but also suitable for parents who wish to learn the relevant skills so that they can assist in the classroom, and / or help run out of school activity clubs ) is [ it seems ] relatively limited.

First Technology Transfer ( which has been involved in setting up UKREF ) has devised a number of robotics and programming courses many of which are aimed at absolute beginners. The philosophy underlying these courses is that they will be run during the school holidays and will be priced so as to make them as affordable as possible. Ideally courses such as these should attract government grants so that schools can afford to sent teachers on them. Details of these courses can be accessed via the following links.
